The Employer Engagement team at Peterborough College works with over 1,000 organisations to develop their workforce locally, regionally and nationally, helping them improve performance by developing the skills of their staff.

The Employer Engagement team offers a selection of courses to meet your business needs; these range from Apprenticeships, NVQs in the workplace to short distance learning and legislative courses. In addition, the team can work with you to design a tailored programme to meet your specific business needs. The courses are offered at very competitive rates and can be delivered by our experienced trainers either on-site or off-site for your convenience.
Apprenticeships are the way to go! We benefit from their young minds, fresh ideas, and new perspectives, and in turn they’re guided by highly skilled engineers with decades of experience and knowledge

We attend the Employer Advisory Board meetings to help support the Colleges in what we need as employers. We are looking forward to supporting the Construction and Engineering T Levels

The team prides itself on establishing close links and effective partnerships with employers and their staff – success that has been highlighted by Ofsted, who reported that “partnership work is outstanding. Productive partnerships enable the College to be highly responsive to the needs of its community and employers”.
Hire an Apprentice
Between September to April, we encourage job vacancy listing for part-time work that can support learners in their studies. After this period we can consider full-time job vacancies in preparation for supporting our learners to progress into employment.
