AA Hospitality Expert to Inspire Next Generation of Hospitality Talent
Learners across Hospitality courses at Peterborough College received an exclusive masterclass in industry excellence from Paul Hackett, Head of Inspections for AA Hotel and Hospitality Services.
During the session, Hackett demystified the AA’s role in the sector, explaining how the organisation collaborates with hotels and restaurants to establish and maintain world-class quality standards. Learners explored how exceptional food, attentive service and operational consistency directly drive guest satisfaction, online reviews and brand reputation.
Tom Bloomer, Lecturer in Hospitality, said: “This visit was an excellent opportunity for our learners to hear directly from an experienced industry professional and understand what high standards and excellence in hospitality really look like.”
The visit gave students a rare, first-hand look into what inspectors search for when evaluating top establishments, bridging the gap between classroom theory and commercial reality.
