Transport changes for September 2026
We have reviewed our college bus services and some routes and stops will change for the 2026/27 academic year.
These changes affect students travelling from Ramsey, Chatteris, Manea and Sawtry. Please check the information below carefully when planning your journey to Peterborough College.
Ramsey and Route 1
Stops already covered by suitable public bus services have been removed from the previous Route 1.
A new college Route 1 will serve selected stops in:
- Earith
- Colne
- Somersham
- Pidley
- Warboys
- Chatteris
- Benwick
- Ramsey Mereside
Depending on where you live, you may be able to use the new college Route 1 or Stagecoach X31.

Chatteris and Route 2
Stops already covered by suitable public bus services have been removed from the previous Route 2.
Depending on where you live, you may be able to use the new college Route 1 or Stagecoach 5.
Please check the stops and times carefully to find the most suitable option for your journey.
Manea
Manea will no longer be served by a Peterborough College bus from September 2026.
Students travelling from Manea will need to explore alternative transport arrangements.
Sawtry and Route 6
College Route 6 has been withdrawn and will not operate during the 2026/27 academic year.
Stagecoach 904 may provide an alternative for students travelling from Sawtry.
Using public bus services
Public bus services are operated independently of Peterborough College. Routes, timetables, fares and availability may change.
Please check the latest information directly with the relevant bus operator before making travel arrangements.
