When you start College, you will be allocated a Student Mentor who will help you to settle into college life and work closely with you, your lecturers and your parents to help you achieve your goals.
They will help you manage your time, develop your study skills and help build your confidence during regular tutorial and one-to-one sessions.
Additional Learning Support (ALS) is any direct support activity, over and above that which is normally provided in a standard learning environment. It is available for learners assessed with barriers to learning and or Special Educational Needs (SEN) which may include specific learning difficulties and/or disabilities. We have a large ALS team on-site offering personalised and bespoke support. We offer support across all our sites: in and out of the classroom, with exams and assessments and in the wider college environment. This support is to enable you to access all the opportunities on offer, maximise your potential and progress to the next stage in your career.
Our Financial Support Hub is designed to provide a clear and simplified overview of the most frequently asked questions regarding funding your course and receiving financial assistance.
Our aim is to guide you through the complexities of financial support, making the process as straightforward as possible to understand.
