Taster Day is your opportunity to discover what it’s really like to study at Peterborough College.
If you’ve accepted an offer for a full-time course starting in September 2025, you’ll be invited to take part in a course-specific taster session that gives you a feel for the people, pace and practical learning involved.
If you’ve accepted an offer for a full-time course at either Peterborough College, you’ll be invited to attend Taster Day by email.

🔗 Inside that email, you’ll find a personal registration link just for you.
✅ Click the link and complete the short registration form to secure your place. If you don’t register in advance, we won’t know to expect you and you will be turned away on the day.
To secure your spot, make sure you register early using your personal link and let us know straight away if your course choice changes.
If you are travelling by bus, check the transport guide below to see which route number you will need to get for your arrival and departure. At the end of the day, we will have a number of staff to help guide you to the correct route for your journey home.
If you are travelling by car there will be a designated drop-off section of the car park that will be clearly sign posted.
As you arrive at college there will be clear signage showing you where to go and staff ready to meet you. You will be asked to check in so we know you have arrived and you will be given a Taster Day lanyard to wear during the day. If you have to leave before the end of the day please ensure you check out at reception so we know you have left the building.

Registration for the Taster Day is mandatory, you cannot just turn up on the day. The deadline for registering is Friday 20th June, after this date no more bookings will be accepted. If you turn up on the day without registering you will be turned away.
Yes, you can get picked up early. Transport however will only be provided at the start and end of the Taster Day therefore you will need to be able to make your own way home. To leave early, we ask you ensure you check out at the main reception before leaving for health and safety reasons so we know you’re no longer on site.
Taster Day is a one-off event taking place on Friday 27 June 2025, and there are no alternative dates planned. If you can’t attend, don’t worry — it won’t affect your offer. We’ll make sure you receive all the key information before starting in September, and you’ll still be able to meet staff and classmates during induction.
