Why Retrofit is Important
Retrofitting addresses the UK’s challenge of reducing carbon emissions, especially from older, less efficient housing. It involves upgrading buildings with sustainable solutions like insulation, greener heating systems, and renewable energy sources.
This is integral to achieving the UK’s legally binding target of carbon neutrality by 2050, aligning with PAS 2035 standards for effective retrofitting. Retrofitting not only improves energy efficiency but also plays a key role in the nation’s environmental strategy.
