Beauty Therapy training at Peterborough College helps students develop the practical skills needed for careers in salons, spas and the wider beauty industry. At Level 2, students build a strong foundation by learning essential treatments such as skincare, facials, makeup, nail care and body therapies.
At Level 3, students progress into more specialised areas including spa therapies, electrical facials and holistic beauty treatments. Alongside practical training, the course develops professional standards, client care skills and an understanding of how beauty businesses operate.

My favourite parts of the course were the practicals: facials and massages. After an intense 315 hours in under ⅔ months, I found employment at Superdrug as a Beauty Therapist. I aspire to have my own salon, and with the great facilities here, I feel fully prepared for the future.
After completing my College course I went on to win Thalgo UK Therapist of the Year. I credit my lecturers for instilling this passion in me. Studying as a young mum, they were hugely encouraging and gave me the best insight into the industry, supporting me to be the successful Therapist I am today.
