Peterborough College Celebrates Success of Student-Led Spring Fair

Peterborough College is thrilled to share the fantastic success of our recent Spring Fair, an event entirely organised and hosted by our wonderful Inclusive Learning students.

This student-led initiative was a brilliant community gathering with a powerful purpose by raising vital funds for two incredible organisations, Sue Ryder and YoungMinds.

Beyond the fundraising success, this hands-on project served as an invaluable, real-world learning experience. By taking the reins from the initial brainstorming sessions to the final cleanup, our students gained crucial life and career skills that will serve them long into the future.

Enterprise & Business: Students took charge of the planning, marketing and logistics, learning what it takes to bring a large-scale project to life.

Financial Literacy: Managing real cash transactions, budgeting and calculating profits gave the students practical experience in money management.

Social & Communication Skills: Collaborating as a team and engaging confidently with the public provided a massive boost to their social skills and personal confidence.
