Our Inclusive Learning courses are designed to prepare you for a range of work opportunities or life skills in or outside of college.
Develop your confidence and personal independence!
These courses will help you develop your confidence and personal independence and also offers you the chance, where appropriate to take part in work experience as part of your programme.

Supported Internships
Our Supported Internship programme is a fantastic opportunity for young people with additional needs who want to get into work. Students will receive a personalised study programme; spending 3 days per week at an employer and 2 days per week in college. College time will be focused on students improving their English and Maths skills and completing additional courses that are relevant to their placement. Internships are unpaid and last for a period of 6-12 months. Wherever possible, an internship will help you to move into paid employment at the end of the programme.
Job Coaches
Students on an internship will receive one-to-one support from a qualified Job Coach. Job Coaches will use vocational profiling to identify students’ skills and aspirations and then match students to a suitable employer. Job Coaches provide direct support in the workplace at the beginning of the placement and will then remove support once the student feels independent in the workplace. Job Coaches teach students new skills using Systematic Instruction: a training method using demonstrations and non-verbal prompts.
Entry Requirements
- Must be aged 16-24 at the start of the course
