Inspiring the Next Generation: Higher Education Fair Connects Students with Top Universities.
Over 800 students across Peterborough College and Stamford College recently explored a number of future opportunities during a successful two-day higher education fair organised by IEG’s Careers team.
The cross-campus event connected students with representatives from more than 20 of the top universities and higher education institutions. Designed to highlight the broad spectrum of choices available after further education, the fair covered traditional undergraduate degree courses and degree apprenticeships.
Alongside the main exhibitions, the careers team delivered 30 dedicated subject and advice talks attended by over 400 students. These interactive sessions offered deep dives into UCAS applications and the benefits of combining work and study through degree apprenticeships.
The HE fair forms a key part of IEG’s broader strategy to deliver comprehensive career guidance, helping students make informed decisions as they prepare to transition into higher education, training or skilled employment.
