Creative Media Students Receive High Praise After Producing Two Powerful Promotional Videos For Boxing Futures
Creative Media students at Peterborough College, part of Inspire Education Group, have earned standout praise from Boxing Futures after producing two high-impact promotional videos to support the charity’s work with young people.
The project marks the latest chapter in a strong, ongoing partnership between the college and Boxing Futures, an organisation dedicated to empowering vulnerable youth facing hardship through non-contact boxing, targeted mentoring and mental health support.
Abigail Pudney, Ash Speake Scarlett Williams and Lily Valentine managed the entire production process from initial concept and storyboarding through to filming and post-production edits. Project lead Abigail Pudney received special recognition from the charity for her exceptional leadership, organisation and dedication from start to finish.
In a letter sent to their tutor, Tom Davis, Boxing Futures praised the team’s professionalism nd the lasting value of their work: “We are genuinely thrilled with the quality of the finished films, which capture the spirit and impact of our work so well.”
They continued by saying, “From the outset, we were incredibly impressed by the professionalism, creativity and enthusiasm shown by your students.They took the time to understand who we are, what we stand for and the stories we wanted to tell. ”
They finished the letter with “ We are incredibly grateful to your students for giving their time, talent and creativity to support our charity. The videos they have produced will have a lasting impact, helping us to tell our story, engage new audiences and inspire more people to support Boxing Futures and the young people we help.”
Their Chatterbox video is now live on the Boxing Futures website, and their Sisters Through Boxing video is on their YouTube channel. Both videos will play a crucial role in raising awareness and driving community support for the charity’s youth initiatives. You can watch their interview here.
