College Students Lead the Way as Jack Hunt Claims Victory in New Annual Basketball Tradition

In a showcase of local talent and student leadership, Sports students successfully hosted the inaugural schools’ basketball challenge between Jack Hunt Academy and Thomas Deacon Academy.
While the atmosphere was electric and the competition on the court was fierce, the day belonged to more than just the players. Our own College students took full command of the event, stepping up as referees and officials to ensure the high-stakes game was played with professional standards and fair play.
Jack Hunt Academysecured the win, becoming the first-ever champions of what is now officially an annual fixture on the College’s sports calendar.
By hosting this event, we are proud to provide a professional platform where local schools can compete, and our own students can lead. We look forward to welcoming both teams back next year for the rematch.
