Open Event – Tuesday 19th January 2027
Why attend an open event?
Visiting Peterborough College gives you a clear picture of what life is like after Year 11.
Whether you are deciding between T Levels, vocational courses or apprenticeships, our open events let you experience our specialist facilities firsthand. You will have the chance to tour our subject hubs, speak directly with course lecturers and hear directly from current students about their experiences.
It is your opportunity to gain clarity on your future path, ask any queries you have and kickstart your application journey.
What to expect
To secure a seamless arrival, we highly advise booking your spot in advance for fast-track entry. Unregistered guests will need to sign in manually on the day, which can take up to 5 to 10 minutes per person.
Our Open Events attract large crowds, which can lead to traffic around the Park Crescent entrance. Please plan your journey early to avoid delays.
When registering, selecting a specific arrival slot helps us manage arrivals and shorten wait times. We suggest arriving approximately 15 minutes prior to your allocated time to park and complete check-in smoothly.
Before you visit
All you need to bring with you is an open mind and your questions!
To make the most of your visit, we recommend browsing our courses ahead of time to pinpoint the subjects you want to see. Having a general idea of your interests will help you navigate the campus efficiently.
Once you arrive, feel free to take self-guided tours, drop into live workshop demonstrations and speak with our admissions and student support teams.
Media and Journalism Courses
Media and Journalism courses are based at our dedicated Media Journalism Centre (MJC).
If you are interested in these subjects, prospective students can choose to head directly to the MJC or drop by our main Peterborough College campus first and catch our complimentary shuttle bus across.
If you intend to catch the shuttle bus, please factor in a few extra minutes for travel time between sites.
