Who is it for?
This NCFE CACHE Level 2 course is for you if you are interested in caring for children and wish to pursue a career within the childcare industry.
This course is great for building your knowledge and skills within the early years industry giving you a great foundation to progress your career further.
What is covered?
This course will introduce you to many fascinating early years topics including; child development and how to support it, the role and responsibilities of a Childcare Practitioner and exploring legistlation.
You will also learn about equality, diversity and inclusive practice in an early years setting. You will be required throughout this course to spend two days a week (a minimum of 120 hours in total) in a variety of childcare settings with children aged 0 - 8 years.

A minimum of Grade 3/D in English and Maths or the equivalent functional skill plus the ability to demonstrate an interest in the subject.
You will be assessed through assignments, practical demonstrations and tests.
As part of the course, you’ll get the chance to take part in various trips. You will be required to wear an Early Years uniform. An initial payment will be requirement during the enrolment process
