Who is it for?
This course is a Professional Chef advanced pathway, and a natural progression route for those who have completed a Level 2 Hospitality Services or Professional Chef qualification previously. It would also suit anyone already working in the industry to progress towards a more robust and complex craft skills and knowledge award at Level 3.
What is covered?
You will cover food preparation and cooking at an advanced specialised craft and knowledge skills level. You will need to demonstrate competencies for all of the mandatory units that reflect food safety, health and safety, current relevant legislation and current industrial fashions with traditional background attributes.

You will need to have achieved Level 2 Hospitality Services and will also need an up–to–date food safety certificate and relevant industrial knowledge and skills associated with health and safety in the workplace.
NVQ Assessments throughout the year to confirm craft, knowledge and performance across the pathway as competent.
