Because this course develops the skills that employers are looking for, you can choose from a whole range of craft or technical careers and possibly continue your studies on an apprenticeship programme.
On successful completion of this course you can progress on to a level 3 course, an apprenticeship, or go into employment in the construction industry and return to study on a part–time level 3 course.
This course is signed for anyone wanting to develop their career within the plumbing industry and is a natural progression route from Plumbing Level.
This course offers excellent preparation for your continued training. You will be equipped with the necessary theoretical and practical skills you will need to be able to be competent in your plumbing capabilities inline with industry standards.
You will carry out both practical and theory sessions and learn the art of plumbing within our specialist facilities.

Progression from a Level 1 Plumbing qualification having demonstrated good academic potential during study at Level 1 Plumbing
Through examinations provided by e-assessment and practical and written assessments.
You will be required to purchase your own safety equipment (boots and overalls) prior to starting the course. Details on where to purchase these will be given to you.
Full-time courses are fully funded for 16 to 19-year-olds. For age 19+, various funding options are available.
