Who is it for?
Our part-time GCSE maths course is aimed at learners aged 19 or above who are looking to progress their careers in either employment or education. GCSE maths is vital in many professions and career paths and GCSE or equivalent is regarded as the target requirement set out by many employers and universities to progress.
This course can be delivered face to face or online.

Our preferable entry requirements for the programme are a Grade 3/D at GCSE level or the completion of Level 2 Functional skills maths however you will be invited in for a screening assessment regardless of your qualifications and will be offered a place if you are working at a sufficient level.
Exam dates for this course are Wednesday 8th November 2023, Friday 10th November AND Monday 13th November 2023 learners will also have the option of the summer 2024 series May/June 2024 if not successful in November.
- Paper 1 is Non-Calculator
- Paper 2 is Calculator allowed
- Paper 3 is Calculator allowed
You will also have a mock test and 5 End of topics tests conducted by departmental staff throughout the year.
