What can this course lead to?
After successfully completing this course you may be able to progress onto Level 2 Hospitality Services or an apprenticeship if suitable employment is found.

Throughout the course, topics covered include focusing on:
- The introduction to basic cooking skills
- Understanding the hospitality and catering industry
- Customer care
- Health and safety
- Food safety
- Preparation and cooking
- Serving of food within our realistic working environments.
You will also cover the service of food and beverages and be assessed through observation and test papers.

The course left me fully equipped and ready to start working at the Royal Automobile Club in London. I really appreciate all the help I’ve got from the staff at Peterborough College – they were always ready to answer any questions and I really enjoyed the course.
