Progression can be to employment, a Supported Internship or on to a mainstream college course.

Who is it for?
Our Employability course is for students with additional needs that some day wish to progress onto a form of employment – this could be paid or voluntary. The course covers workplace related skills and knowledge such as rights in the workplace, health and safety and working in a team. The course will try and embed a short work experience placement for a taste of being in a working environment. This course is also a stepping stone for progression onto the Supported Internship programme where more in depth work placements are available.
What is covered?
You will complete either and Entry Level 3 or Level 1 qualification in Employability. These units will be carefully selected to improve your chances to be sucessful in the world of work.

There are no entry requirements for the course however you cannot study below your current minimum level qualification.
Educational trips, approximately £25 per year.
Work placements or simulated work environments and tasks will be a part of this course.
