Successful completion of this course as well as achieving Functional Skills English and maths will enable you to progress on to the level 2 programme, or into employment as an Electrical Apprentice where you will undertake the level 3 qualification.

This course covers both industrial, commercial and domestic installations and is a great first step if you are interested in a career as an Electrician.
You will develop your practical skills and knowledge to enable you to understand the principles of electrical installations within the college’s simulated working environment.

You will learn and develop both within the classroom and workshop covering a number of topics needed to start your career within this industry.
