What are Skills Bootcamps?
Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible training courses for adults aged 19+ that help you build in-demand skills and move into employment quickly. Delivered in partnership with employers, our Bootcamps in Construction, Green Skills, and Health & Social Care are designed to meet real industry needs and offer a fast-track route into work, with a guaranteed job interview upon completion.

Who Can Join?
You’ll need to:
- be aged 19+
- have the right to work in the UK and/or a National Insurance number.
- not be enrolled on other funded training such as an apprceship or higher education.
- be a current resident of Peterborough or Cambridgeshire.
- Resident in England and have the right to live and work in the UK.

For Employers
Skills Bootcamps can upskill your existing staff to boost productivity, develop new business and improve retention.
- Employers with fewer than 250 employees contribute 10% of the course cost
- Employers with 250+ employees contribute 30% of the course cost
Employees who complete a bootcamp should be able to evidence increased responsibility or a promotion within six months of finishing.

How to Enrol
Enrolling on a Skills Bootcamp is simple. Once you apply, our team will guide you through the eligibility checks and enrolment process. Skills Bootcamps are funded by the government, meaning they’re free for all learners or heavily subsidised if you’re employed and enrolling through your workplace.
