Peterborough College T Level Nursing Students Take Part in Real-Life Emergency Training

13 November 2025

Our Year 2 T Level Nursing students at Peterborough College recently took part in a crime scene mock-up to test their skills in responding to and dealing with emergency incidents and trauma.

The activity gave students the chance to put their knowledge into practice in a realistic and challenging environment, helping them to develop crucial skills needed for a successful career in the NHS and healthcare world.

The session took place at the Crime Scene House, a specialist facility of University Centre Peterborough (UCP). This unique space is designed to replicate real-life scenarios for hands-on learning and is also used by UCP students studying Forensic and Criminal Investigation degrees. The use of this shared resource allowed students to experience a realistic emergency scenario and gain valuable insight into the pressures and practicalities of healthcare response situations.

This exercise forms part of the College’s commitment to providing students with practical, career-focused learning experiences that prepare them for progression into professional roles and higher education.
