Peterborough College Beauty Students Gain Exclusive Industry Insight from Dermalogica

Beauty students at Peterborough College recently enjoyed an inspiring guest talk from leading professional skincare brand Dermalogica, offering a valuable look into the industry and the career pathways available to aspiring therapists.

The session provided students with an in-depth overview at the services and treatments that Dermalogica provides, alongside a fascinating insight into the brand’s history and ethos. Students also explored the science behind Dermalogica’s products, with before and after images demonstrating the impact of professional skincare in real-world results.

A key focus of the talk was the Dermalogica Aspire Programme, an exclusive training and development opportunity designed to enhance learners’ skills, confidence and employability. Through the programme, students can complete 23 interactive workshops and work towards three recognised awards: the Aspire Skills Award, Aspire Employability Award, and Aspire Career Next Steps Award.

Once these have been achieved, students are eligible to receive the prestigious Aspire Excellence Award, granting free access to Dermalogica’s entry-level professional training course. This not only builds technical expertise but also strengthens CVs and improves job prospects across the beauty and skincare industry.
