Music Technology Alumnus Amer Alhajar Secures A Production Deal with Universal Music.

In his final year of his Music Production course at De Montfort University, Amer Alhajar returned to Peterborough College to tell us how he has turned his passion for sound into a flourishing music career.

Amer began his journey on the Level 2 Music Technology course before progressing to Level 3 Music Production, where he honed his creative and technical skills. During his time at college, he credits his tutors, the facilities and the course for providing him with a head start.  

Amer said “The Music Technology course gave me a strong foundation in the tools and software used across the music industry, giving me a real head start when I went on to study Music Production at De Montfort University. I was able to build on the skills I developed at college, and I’m now fortunate to be working with artists signed to the renowned record label, Universal.”

Amer’s story is a perfect example of how passion, persistence, and the right foundation can lead to incredible opportunities in the creative industries.
