Level 1 Uniformed Public Service Students Bridge the Gap Between Theory and Reality at Forest Facility
9 April 2026
Our Level 1 Uniformed Public Service students swapped the classroom for the rugged terrain of Forest Facility near Peterborough.
The adventure day was designed to push students beyond their comfort zones, serving as a critical assessment of their readiness for the high-pressure world of uniformed services. The day was packed with physically and mentally demanding challenges, including:
- The 4km Assault Course: A gruelling test of resilience and stamina essential for frontline endurance.
- The Leap of Faith: A high-platform jump that challenged students to find the personal courage to act despite fear.
- The Spy Hunt: A tactical exercise focusing on team cohesion, communication, and collective problem-solving.
The cohort successfully demonstrated the “service spirit,” emphasising discipline, trust in equipment and the mental toughness required to see a mission through. We are incredibly proud to announce that every student gave maximum effort, with each earning a Distinction grade for their observation and performance.
