Peterborough College Student of the Year
Rheanne Lornie
Among those excelling within the department is Rheanne, an outstanding Engineering student whose passion for the subject has seen her develop advanced technical skills and a strong understanding of how engineering can positively impact the environment.
“My love of cars inspired me to choose an apprenticeship in engineering. I’ve never been one for exams, so the hands-on approach was perfect for me.”
Since completing her apprenticeship, Rheanne has secured a position at MBDA, a European leader in missile and complex weapon systems.

Gary Emery
Former Peterborough College student Gary is a perfect example of progression from classroom to workplace. Now a Section Leader at Baker Perkins, Gary credits his time at the College for setting him on the path to success.

              With the opening of Peterborough College’s £13.5m Centre for Green Technology, the state-of-the-art facility will deliver cutting-edge training in sustainable and emerging technologies, ensuring students develop the skills needed to contribute to a cleaner, greener future.
