Creative Futures Celebrated at Peterborough College’s 2025 Visual Arts Exhibition
The annual Visual Arts Exhibition returned to Peterborough College with an inspiring showcase of creativity, innovation and ambition from students across all levels of the College’s Art & Design courses.

The event welcomed over 420 visitors, including friends and families of students, local artists and senior leadership from Inspire Education Group. Attendees were treated to a broad and diverse display of student work from courses in Art and Design, Graphic Design, Photography and Games Design, which was exhibited at University Centre Peterborough.
Local artist Tony Nero was so impressed by the students’ work that he shared his favourite pieces with his followers on social media. Lecturer Digby, one of the exhibition organisers, said: “Our level 3 year 2 students completing their studies have all secured destinations such as employment, university, and apprenticeships. They were proud to show off their hard work before they departed in June.”
The visual arts course at Peterborough College equips students with the skills and industry insight to pursue careers in a wide range of creative sectors, including film and TV, games, marketing, architecture, product design, illustration, fashion, photography, fine art and cultural heritage. The college is proud to be nurturing the next generation of creative professionals.
A highlight of the event was the opportunity for students to sell their work. So far, 13 artworks have been purchased by visitors, with students expressing their excitement and gratitude for the positive reception. The chance to turn their creative passion into a commercial success was an inspiring addition to this year’s exhibition experience. Some artwork is still available for sale, so if you want to purchase a piece, please contact David Smith (david.smith@ieg.ac.uk) for more information.
