Art & Design Students Support Hospitality with Creative Promotional Works

25 November 2025

Three Level 3 Art & Design students have collaborated with the Catering & Hospitality department to produce a series of bespoke artworks designed to promote and visually elevate the area.

The initiative provided a valuable live brief, enabling learners to respond to a real-world commission and demonstrate creative professionalism.

The students, Kiran, Iveta and Dana, each approached the brief with a distinct artistic style, working across drawing, painting, digital illustration and 3D relief sculpture to capture the department’s character and atmosphere. Dana represented the group in presenting the completed artwork to Francesca, Skills Trainer Assessor, along with Hospitality learners Nicholas, Amy, Summer, Ethan and William, who responded with enthusiasm and highly positive feedback.

The work offers visual enrichment while illustrating the value of cross-departmental collaboration. In addition, the Art & Design learners will include this as a verified live commission within their professional portfolios, strengthening their progression opportunities into creative industries or higher study.

This initiative highlights the strength of collaborative learning across the college, demonstrating how students can work together to produce impactful, professional-standard results.
