Art and Design Students Experience the Timeless Beauty of Florence
Art and Design students recently had the opportunity to immerse themselves in one of the world’s most inspiring cultural destinations, Florence, Italy.
The educational trip offered learners the chance to experience first-hand the art, architecture, and history that have shaped generations of creativity and continue to influence artists today.
The group explored some of Florence’s most iconic landmarks, including the Galleria dell’Accademia, Galleria degli Uffizi, Il Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and Ponte Vecchio.
Art and Design Tutor Romina shared her passion and motivation behind organising the trip:
‘I am very passionate about art and felt the need to give our learners the opportunity to see art that is timeless. The trip was to give our learners an experience of art, architecture and culture, where better than Florence.’
The experience was both educational and inspiring, giving learners a rare chance to connect classroom studies with real-world artistic excellence. Trips like this not only enhance students’ artistic understanding but also broaden their cultural perspectives.
