Paper 2: Writers' Viewpoints and Perspectives

  • Reading (Section A): Read two non-fiction texts. You will locate hidden details, synthesise information, and compare how different writers present their perspectives.
  • Writing (Section B): Practise persuasive and argumentative writing, learning how to structure a compelling opinion piece for a specific audience and purpose (e.g., a speech, letter, or article).

Spoken Language assessment

  • Deliver a formal presentation, respond to questions, and use spoken Standard English effectively.
