This qualification is designed for any learner that wants to raise their awareness of more common mental health conditions and the problems that can cause mental ill health.

Mental health presents one of the greatest challenges to our society with an estimated450 million people worldwide suffering from a mental health problem, around a quarter of British adults will experience some form of mental health problem each year.

This qualification will give learners the skills to support colleagues with mental health problems through increasing their knowledge and understanding of mental health conditions and the principles of mental health first aid and how this can be implemented in the workplace.
