Work experience gives young people who are studying a qualification practical experience which is directly related to their course, helping prepare them for the world of work. Studying at Peterborough College instilled in me the confidence and mindset essential for the travel and tourism sector. I especially cherished our practice sessions in the college’s mock-up cabin, simulating the real safety demonstrations. Our visit to a renowned airline base at London’s Heathrow Airport was particularly enlightening; it provided a genuine insight into the life of cabin crew.
