This 2- year qualification combines classroom learning with a minimum 9 week industry placement. Alongside the course each student will also complete at least one module of ocupational-specific content specialising as a Creative Media Technician. An industry-based work placement is required to run alongside your course, this must be a minimum of 315 hours and will further reinforce your newly learned skills and offer a true insight into the media, broadcast and production industry.

In the first year you will be expected to complete two core knowledge paper-based exams and an employer-set project which contains controlled assessments.In the second year, you will complete an occupational specialism assessment to allow you to demonstrate your application of the relevant knowledge, skills and behaviours required for the occupation.
Your T-Level will include an industry placement with an employer to develop the practical and technical skills required for the occupation.We will support you in finding relevant work placements but you must demonstrate willingness to travel to your work placements.These will last a minimum of 315 hours (around 45 days). Employers can offer industry placements as a block, day release or a combination of the two.
