Digital and IT Skills Foundation T Level Level 2

Upon achieving an overall Merit GCSE 4/C in English and maths you can also progress on to the Level 3 Digital Technologies course or use the skills and knowledge from this course to apply for jobs in the IT industry.

Alternatively you can take another qualification at level 2 in an alternative subject, for example business or an apprenticeship.

This qualification is a practical work-related course designed to meet the needs of today’s businesses.

Taught as a hands-on programme in the context of a real job within this dynamic sector it will provide you with a sound knowledge base to progress and achieve more advanced work-related qualifications.

This Foundation T Level focuses on the world of Digital Skills and IT. You will look at how they operate, explore the key concepts and principles of digitals skills and how they relate to todays innovative world.

You will investigate areas such as:

• Programming
• Website Design
• Digital Graphics
• Digital Skills Project
• Digital Skills Career Progression

It is a one-year programme aimed at young people who are not ready to start a T Level but have the potential to progress onto one.
