Interview Skills Assessment
You will be required to attend a Welcome Event, details will be provided upon application.
What will I need
4 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above and must include English and maths. Or Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery and the English and maths you are currently studying.
What is covered
This course covers topics such as:
• Fixing components
• Setting out for construction projects
• Constructing complex structural models i.e. cut roofs including dormer windows, hanging doors and installing UPVC components
• An introduction into construction management
What can this course lead to
The course is ideal preparation for further practical training (progression to an apprenticeship or a level 3 course). You may also use the qualification to take your fi rst steps into a career in construction.
