Who is it for
The AAT is an established and well respected professional accountancy organisation with over 100,000 students, full and fellow members worldwide. The AATs qualifications develop relevant and practical accounting and finance skills which are ideal if you want to be an accountant or account technician.

Interview Skills Assessment
You will be required to attend a Welcome Event – details will be provided upon application. If you have other qualifications and/or relevant work experience, you will be fully considered to study for the course.
What will I need
You will need to have completed and passed the AAT Level 2 course and have English and maths at GCSE grade C/4 or Functional Skills Level 2. You will also need to have basic competency in IT.
What is covered
These modules will develop your knowledge of financial and management accounting further and introduce the methods of cost accounting used for management purposes. Modules include:
•Financial accounting (advanced)
•Recording and analysing costs and revenues
•Operating a cash management and credit control system
•Professional ethics for accounting technicians
•Certificate in employability
How is the course assessed
AAT Modules are assessed by on–line exams and on–line project work. All exams are taken at the College.
What can this course lead to
After successfully passing this course, you will be able to study for the Level 4 AAT Diploma in Accountancy. This will enable you to apply for full membership of the Association of Accounting Technicians and use the letters MAAT after your name.
