Who is it for
The AAT is an established and well respected professional accountancy organisation with over 100,000 students, full and fellow members worldwide. The AATs qualifications develop relevant and practical accounting and finance skills which are ideal if you want to be an accountant or account technician.

Interview Skills Assessment
You will be required to attend a Welcome Event – details will be provided upon application. If you have other qualifications and/or relevant work experience, you will be fully considered to study for the course.
What will I need
You will need 4 GCSEs at grade D/3 or above including English and maths or
equivalent and also basic competency in IT. Or you will need to have achieved
Level 1 AAT and GCSE English and maths at minimum Functional Skills Level 1.
What is covered
During the one year course, the following modules will be covered:
•Accounting work skills
•Business book–keeping and accounting
•Work effectively in accounting and finance
How is the course assessed
AAT Modules are assessed by either coursework or online exams. All exams are taken at the College.
What can this course lead to
After successfully passing this course and achieving English & maths at grade C/4, you will be able to study for the AAT Advanced Diploma in Accountancy Level 3 or Business Level 3. Alternatively, the AAT Accountancy Apprenticeship is available.
