About the Nursery
Our Nursery is here to provide a friendly service for students and staff who can bring their children here while they are in College. First years are important and our aim is to provide a happy, loving and secure atmosphere with a stimulating, motivating environment in which children will enjoy learning through play.

The Nursery is managed by Rebecca Matthews who is supported in her role by an experienced team of qualified staff.

Quality care and early learning experiences are offered to children aged from 3 months to 4 years 11 months through a 'learning framework', which is built around a family environment. The framework follows the children's individual needs and interests, encouraging confidence in exploring their environment, and security when forming relationships.

Each day we follow a programme of activities which ensure that all areas of learning are achieved. Pre-school children are given the opportunity to learn with enjoyment and challenge during the foundation stage. This prepares them for a smooth transition into reception class.

A copy of our curriculum is included in our handbook which can be collected from the Nursery.
