Information and Advice
However, they don't just give information about College courses - they can provide advice on a wide range on topics such as: studying whilst unemployed; grants; loans and financial help; reduced fees; college nursery; impartial educational advice; home to college transport; full and part-time application process; progression to further, higher and post-graduate courses; UCAS and other application systems.

Referral
The College works in partnership with many specialists, including Connexions Personal Advisers, Nextstep, and staff from independent advice centres and our Information Centre staff make referrals to them when appropriate. They may also refer you to other education providers if appropriate.

Comments and Feedback
The College welcomes feedback from all our customers at any time since by this means we are able to identify problems and improve the quality of service we provide. The aim of our procedure is to ensure a speedy resolution to the problems raised and where necessary make changes for the benefit of all our customers. There are a number of ways in which you can give us feedback and /or make a complaint.

If you have any comments or suggestions you would like to make, please contact us by e-mail at info@peterborough.ac.uk , by phone on 0845 8728722 or by leaving your comments/suggestions in our suggestions box held within the Reception/Customer Services and Information Centre.

If you have a complaint and/or need help to resolve any difficulties you may have concerning your course, college facilities or college administration a simple three-step process is used and the guide to this procedure is held within the College's reception area. However, the following is a brief guide to the procedure that should be carried out:

•  Step1 - You should try to resolve the problem informally with the person/section concerned. Ask the person/section for an appointment for a confidential interview so that you can discuss your concerns.

•  Step 2 - If, after following the procedure of Step 1 you are unable to agree a satisfactory resolution to the problems raised, contact the manager of the section concerned and arrange to discuss the issues.

•  Step 3 - Formal Complaints Procedure if you are still unable to agree a solution to the issues raised then you should invoke the college formal complaints procedure, this procedure requires the complaint to be put in writing.

If you are in any doubt, please do not hesitate to contact the College reception on 0845 8728722 who will help you contact the correct person to help you progress your complaint.
