College preparing for large open event
Peterborough Regional College are preparing for another busy Open
Day on Thursday 28 January between 2pm
and 8pm.
Visitors can expect a bustling array of activities taking place
throughout the College including; live performing arts workshops
and rehearsals, cookery, world speed record attempts in the
Fitness Suite and they can even have a go a hairdressing in the
new salon.
The new Media & Journalism Centre on Broadway will also be
open for those budding photographers and TV presenters to have
a look round and speak to staff. There will be a free mini bus
service running regularly from the Park Crescent site to Broadway
throughout the day.
The day will really suit all needs as the new PRC City Learning Centre also located on Broadway will be open for adult learners and those wanting to improve their numeracy, literacy and key skills. Visitors can catch the same mini bus service for this.
University Centre Peterborough will be opening their doors to show off their new building located on the PRC Park Crescent site. Staff will be on hand there to discuss full and part-time degree courses starting this September and can advise you on any queries regarding of finance and accommodation as well.
It will be the ideal opportunity for students leaving school this
year to enquire and even apply for full-time courses starting this
September, as places will start to fill in the next couple of months.
All visitors will find it beneficial to arrive by the Park Crescent
entrance where they will be greeted by welcome staff and provided
with an information pack which includes a map and other college
information.
