For 50 years, Motown music has filled our homes and hearts, supplying us with hours of dancing and the ‘sing along’ soundtracks to our lives. As it is Motown’s golden anniversary, the second year music students of Peterborough Regional College feel it’s their duty to celebrate this major, heart warming event with a whole night dedicated to the shades of Wonder, Diana’s Supremes, and the slick choreography of the Jacksons, along with all the classic tunes we’ve loved for years.

Performed by Peterborough Regional College music students, the show will feature such hits as Heard it Through the Grapevine, Dancing in the Street, Heatwave, Sir Duke, Blame it On the Boogie, Papa’s got a Brand New Bag, and many more.

The students showcased their outstanding ability when they performed at Peterborough Regional College’s cross-college annual award ceremony, receiving a standing ovation.

Held at the Cresset Theatre, Bretton, on the 11th of June 2009, for just £10 (£8 concession; valid student ID, -16’s, OAP’s) per ticket, we promise a night of dancing, laughter, and old favourites, celebrating the 50 year milestone of Motown classics.
