Peterborough Regional College put their culinary skills to the test
Catering student Chris Audsley will be putting his skills and
experience to the test against some of the most prestigious hotel
and hospitality establishments in the country on Monday 19 January
at the NEC Birmingham.
Chris has been entered into the Young’s Chef’s challenge as part of the Salon Culinaire cookery championship 2009. As part of this challenge Chris will be cooking pan fried red mullet with lemon and dill noodles garnished with ratatouille.
Competitors will have half an hour to cook their chosen dish in front of a live audience and a panel of judges. They will be marked on craft skills, professional technique, balance and presentation.
