Artists show off their creative skills

An art exhibition displaying the creative talents of Art and Design students at Peterborough Regional College will be open this week to the public.

Taking place in the main College hall at the Park Crescent Campus, the Exhibition is a great opportunity for students to showcase their hard work to friends, family and the public before they move on to the next stage in their career.

The annual event showcases the abilities of some of the most talented and creative students in Peterborough.  Courses such as fashion, photography, ceramics, graphic design and textiles will be represented, alongside art and design courses at all levels.

For school-leavers, the exhibition offers a chance to see the type of work that students on art courses produce and the environment they work in.

For adults with a creative flair and looking to develop their talents, the exhibition will also display work from mature students taking courses at all levels.

The exhibition will open with a private view for specially invited guest on Tuesday 23 at 7.30pm.  The items will then be shown in all their glory to the public on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th June from 9am to 8pm and again on Friday 26th June from 9am to 2pm.

So if you are interested in pursuing an Art & Design course, it is the perfect chance for you to view some of the outstanding artwork for yourself.  If you would like further information please do not hesitate to contact our Information Centre on 0845 8728722.
