Employees awarded Level 2 qualifications by PRC
With nutrition of school dinners high on everyone’s agenda, Peterborough Regional College and Ecovert FM have responded by successfully training 36 caters at four of Peterborough’s schools.
At a recent awards evening the catering staff were presented their certificates in NVQ 2 Food Processing and Cooking thanks to the innovative partnership between Ecovert FM and Peterborough Regional College. They completed this initiative successfully through the Train 2 Gain scheme offered at the College.
Through its catering brand, Ecovert FM serves up approximately 3,500 meals per day to staff, pupils and public across the four Peterborough schools which are The Voyager School, Jack Hunt School, Ken Stimpson Community School and Thomas Deacon Academy.
Robert Presland, Lecturer & Work Based Learning Co-ordinator for Hospitality and Catering at the College, said ‘Peterborough Regional College is proud to be associated with Ecovert FM and providing them the highest possible standard of training for their employees. We look forward to continuing our relationship with them.’
