PRC Ventures opens the Riverside Restaurant at the Key Theatre

Offering a pre-theatre menu on show days only, the Riverside Restaurant is the latest outlet for Ventures, who are a wholly-owned subsidiary of the College. Ventures currently provide catering at the College Refectory, Univeristy Centre Peterborough, University Technical College and Anglia Ruskin’s Guild House, as well as most recently the prestigious Becket’s Tea Room at Peterborough Cathedral.

With a new menu each month, dishes currently on offer include prawns on a bed of rocket with a Thai flavoured red pepper puree as a starter option, and Chicken breast marinated in citrus and served on a tumble of rice topped with crispy noodles with a pool of clear tangy sauce as a main.

PRC Ventures Catering Manager, Diane Cavender has been overseeing the new opening, with head chef Andrew Woodbine responsible for the kitchen alongside a former apprentice, Harnek Dharar.
