Holidays
You are entitled to between 30-37 days holiday per annum depending upon your job role.  Furthermore all employees are entitled to 8 bank holidays per annum and up to 5 college closures days over the Christmas period. This means that in total you are entitled to between 43-50 days paid leave each year.

Pension and Life Insurance
The College contributes to two final salary pension schemes. The Local Government Pension Scheme is available to support staff and includes a death in service payment of two times your final pay. The Teachers Pension Scheme is available to teaching staff and has a death in service benefit, which is dependant on eligible service. Free Training and Development Courses
All staff, whether temporary or permanent, may request to take any courses on offer at the College. Limited to one non-work related course at a time, the course must be outside your normal hours of work. Applications will be accepted on the basis that there is no detriment to the College and that the course is financially viable to run.  Please see the College intranet under Staff Development for details on how to request courses.

Staff Lounge
The staff lounge is a place to relax, access the internet, work and meet with colleagues with free tea & coffee. Computers, colour printers and a scanner are all available. The staff lounge is located in the Engineering corridor.

The College Library+
Your staff ID badge also acts as your library card. You may borrow up to 20 items at time including books, videos and equipment for up to 8 weeks. However, fines will be issued where return dates are overlooked.

Travel
Situated in Alexandra Foyer, The Travel Place is a fully operational travel agent where you can conveniently book your holiday, train tickets and more.

Transport
The College has a pool of cars and minibuses available for staff needing to travel on College business. To find out more and obtain a request form contact Reception.

Eateries 
Four food outlets (The Filling Station, The Pantry, Cool Beans and Parcs Restaurant) provide a variety of food from early morning to 8pm. The award winning Parcs Restaurant can offer more formal lunch or evening meals by calling 762189. Keep an eye out for theme evenings & other special events across the academic year. Vending machines around the College also provide snacks and drinks.

Retail
The College has three retail outlets offering goods and services including food and drink, stationery, clothing, cards and gifts.  The outlets are located near the Eastfield Road and Alexandra Foyer entrances. Practically Perfect is a charity shop operated by learners where you will find bargains galore!

Money
You will find a free cash point service in the Alexandra Foyer next to the Travel Place.

Fitness Centre
The College gym is available for employees to use between the hours of 5pm to 8pm. A small charge of £15 per term is payable upon signing up.  The gym is located at the end of the Engineering Corridor.

Nursery
All staff are eligible to use the fabulous College Nursery for children aged 0-4 situated on the left as you enter the College gates from Park Crescent. Charges do apply and further information can be obtained by contact the Nursery Manager on extension 2180.
