Case Study - Thu Ha Nguyen

Thu Ha Nguyen, from near Hanoi in Vietnam, studied the First Certificate in English (FCE) at Peterborough Regional College.

Ha studied English previously in Singapore and Cyprus and had friends living in Peterborough who told her about the college.

"England is the best country I have studied in and everyone at the College is very kind, helpful and friendly. Peterborough is a very nice city - safe and peaceful."

Case Study - Momodou N'jie

Momodou N'jie enrolled on the Access to Higher Education Science course. Momodou is from Bakau in The Gambia, where he worked as a Laboratory Assistant in the School of Public Health at The Gambia College. He was awarded a scholarship by UNESCO to enable him to study in Peterborough..

Case Study - Dan Abungu

Dan Abungu, comes from Kisumi in Kenya. Dan had studied Laboratory Science in Kenya and decided that he wanted to combine studying with being in the UK. Dan joined Peterborough Regional College to study the one-year Access to Higher Education Certificate in Business and Computing followed by a computing degree at the College:
