Full-time Course
You can now apply for full-time courses starting September 2010
Applying for a place on a full time course is simple. Just fill in the Application Form at the bottom of this page and return it to Full-time Applications at the College. Because some courses fill up quickly, it is advisable to apply as early as possible. There is no problem if you have already applied to other schools and colleges.
We will send you an acknowledgement card within ten working days and you will also be invited for an interview. Applications through schools take longer, so to ensure we have received your application it is always advisable to telephone 0845 872 8722 to ensure you are on our files.

The Interview
There really is no need to worry about the College interview - it is not as scary as it seems! The interview is an informal meeting between you and a College tutor, and is a good chance for you to find out more about us, as well as helping you to decide on the right course for you.
Our advice is always impartial, and if for any reason we think you would benefit from a course elsewhere, we will always give you the details. At the end of the interview you will receive a copy of your action plan and learning programme. When the right course has been agreed you will receive an offer of a place at the College which may be provisional on your exam results.
Exam Results and Enrolment
Once you get your exam results in August, you will need to inform the College of your grades, ready for enrolment in September. If for any reason you do not get the grades you expected don’t panic! We hold Advice Days every year following the results and in many cases we can help students to find a course that is suitable.
Quick Tips
It is important to remember that the entry requirements for courses are intended to act as a guideline only. Even if you do not think that you will qualify it is always worth talking to staff about the options available. Every application is treated individually and selection is based on many other criteria, such as coursework, school reports, experience and attainment. If you do not achieve the entry qualification for your chosen course, it maybe possible to enter at a lower level in preparation for your chosen course.
The College Information Centre team are available all year round to provide advice and guidance on courses. Recently awarded the Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) quality mark, they are committed to ensuring you receive the best possible advice when considering your options. They also offer a pre-course guidance service and can help you resolve any doubts about which course to choose and much more.To arrange an appointment please call 0845 8728722.
You must be sixteen or over on 31 August 2009 for courses starting in September 2010.
