How to apply for an Apprenticeship

STEP 1 – CHOOSING AN APPRENTICESHIP

STEP 2 – APPLICATION

Download the apprentice application form or telephone 01733 762261 for one. You can also visit us on a college open day and chat to one of the Training & Placement Advisors.

Alternatively, you can apply for one of our apprenticeships via apprenticeships online.

STEP 3 – INITIAL ASSESSMENT

On receipt of your completed application form we will invite you to attend an initial assessment, this will determine your suitability for an apprenticeship programme, depending upon the results of this we may suggest an alternative training programme for you.

STEP 4 – INTERVIEW

If you are successful on the initial assessment you will be invited in for an individual interview with a Training & Placement Advisor. You will leave this with an action plan for job search, CV preparation etc.

STEP 5 – PROVISIONAL ACCEPTANCE

Following a successful interview you will be offered a provisional acceptance onto the Apprenticeship programme, subject to a suitable employer being found.
