Directions to College

Directions from the A1(M) - London / Cambridge

  • Exit the A1(M) at junction 17 to join the A1139 into Ortons.
  • Exit the A1139 at junction 5 and turn first left onto Boongate.
  • At the next roundabout take the 4th exit onto Eastfield Road.
  • At second set of traffic lights, turn left into Broadway and second right into Park Crescent.
  • The entrance is on the right - see large inset.
     

Directions from A47 Leicester

  • Leave the A47 at junction 19.
  • At the roundabout take 4th exit into Fulbridge Road towards Dogsthorpe.
  • At the mini roundabout turn left into St Pauls Road.
  • Go straight over the next mini roundabout onto Dogsthorpe Road.
  • At the double mini roundabout system keep right at the first and left at the second roundabout to continue onto Park Road.
  • Take 2nd left into Park Crescent and the VISITORS entrance is on the left.

Directions from A47 Spalding

  • Leave the A47 at junction 19.
  • At the roundabout take 1st exit into Fulbridge Road towards Dogsthorpe.
  • At the mini roundabout turn left into St Pauls Road.
  • Go straight over the next mini roundabout onto Dogsthorpe Road.
  • At the double mini roundabout system keep right at the first and left at the second roundabout to continue onto Park Road.
  • Take 2nd left into Park Crescent and the VISITORS entrance is on the left.

Directions from Train Station / Bus Station

You should allow approximately 30 minutes to walk to the College from the train station or bus station.

Walking to the College from the train station:

  • Leaving the Train Station entrance go right into Station Road and head for over-road walkway into Queengate Centre
  • Once through the entrance to Queensgate from the walkway, you will find a lift on your left, which will take you down to the Bus Station
  • Head to the top of the bus station which will take you out onto Westgate.
  • Turn right on Westgate and keep walking till you reach Lincoln Road which is the first street on the left
  • Keep walking straight down Lincoln Road (you will pass Geneva Street, Fitzwilliam Street and Manor House Street which are all on the right hand side)
  • Keep walking straight ahead until you come to a mini roundabout, turn right here which is Burghley Road
  • Keep walking straight down Burghley Road and take the second left which is Park Road
  • Keep walking straight ahead, passing Granville Street, Huntley Grove and Princes Gate which are all on the right hand side
  • The 4th turning on the right will be Park Crescent, turn here and walk straight ahead. You will then arrive at the Park Crescent entrance to the College which is on the left hand side

Catching a bus from the Station to the College:

  • Leave the Train Station entrance go right into Station Road and head for over-road walkway into Queengate Centre
  • Once through the entrance to Queensgate from the walkway, you will find a lift on your left, which will take you down to the Bus Station
  • You can reach the College from Queensgate Bus Station by catching the citi bus number 5 from bay 12, which takes you to our Eastfield Road entrance. Alternatively you can catch the citi bus number 2 from bay 13 which stops at our Park Crescent entrance. Both buses run every 10 minutes throughout the day
  • Once you have arrived cross over the road and go into Park Crescent or walk across the park to reach the College

Alternatively, there is a Taxi Rank a few yards from the Bus Station in Westgate. The rank is at the head of the bus station to the right.
